Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan inspecting the location of the fire in Gembrong Market, East Jakarta (Jaktim). Anies also had a dialogue with the residents.
Monitoring detik.comMonday (25/4/2022), Anies arrived at Gembrong Market at 10.52 WIB. He seemed to be wearing a hat and official clothes.
Anies was seen accompanied by the Head of BPBD Isnawa Adji and the Regional Secretary Marullah Matali. They searched the area around the fire.
Anies asked the residents at the location.
“Where’s Mom’s house next door?” Anies said to residents at the location.
“Here, on the right, sir, here,” said the resident.
“Be patient,” said Anies, patting the residents’ shoulders.
Anies occasionally saw the burning houses of residents and he seemed to shake his head.

Anies then looked at the location of the fire deeper where the residents’ houses were burnt down. At that time, a number of residents shouted Anies as a presidential candidate.
“Anies is a presidential candidate,” said the resident.
“Anies 2024,” said another resident.
Anies also seemed to greet the residents at the location. He also had time to ask the officers at the refugee camp.
