Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan don’t worry about the two panelists debate the three 2024 presidential elections come from the Defense University (First). Anies admitted that he had no problem with the appointment of the two panelists.
“Well, what does it mean? For me, it’s not that big of a problem. For me, yes. In the end, what is being discussed are things that we all have to respond to objectively,” said Anies Baswedan after visiting the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya, West Java. , Thursday (4/1/2024).
Anies views that the presidential candidates must respond to every question from the panelists objectively. So, Anies will face every question like in the discussions and forums he usually attends.
“Let’s face it, we are also facing the people under pressure from Anies, let alone the panel,” he said.
As is known, the KPU announced the names of panelists for the third debate in the 2024 presidential election. There are 11 people who have expressed their willingness to become debate panelists.
“Then what we can update again is that we have received confirmation and willingness from 11 people for the third debate,” said KPU Commissioner August Mellaz at the Indonesian KPU Menteng office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (3/1).
The names of the panelists have been agreed upon by each team of candidate pairs. Later, the panelists will be quarantined.
The third debate will be held on Sunday (7/1) at 19.00 WIB. The third debate theme is defense, security, international relations, globalization, geopolitics and foreign policy.
The following is a list of the 11 names of the third debate panelists:

2. Curie Maharani Savitri, Ph.D (Lecturer in International Relations, expert in defense industry studies and technology transfer at Binus University)

4. Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, SH., LL.M., Ph.D (Professor of International Law, University of Indonesia and Chancellor of Jenderal Ahmad Yani University)
5. I Made Andi Arsana, ST, ME, Ph.D (Expert in Geospatial Aspects of Maritime Law, Gadjah Mada University)
6.Dr. lan Montratama (Lecturer in the International Relations Study Program, Security and Defense Expert, Pertamina University)
7. Irine Hiraswari Gayatri, Ph.D (Researcher at the Political Research Center of the National Research and Innovation Agency)
