Anies-Airlangga Work System Cross Opinion Taken to the Meeting

Different opinions regarding the office work system came to an end PSBB DKI Jakarta going back tight. The differences will be discussed at the meeting.

Two views came from the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, and Chairman of the Committee for Handling COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPCPEN), Airlangga Hartarto. They plan to discuss this office work system issue in a meeting on Saturday (12/9) today.

The following is a summary of Anies-Airlangga’s differences of opinion up to the plan for the second meeting:

Anies Wants All WFH Except 11 Sectors

Anies pulled the emergency brake and announced his plan to return to the initial PSBB on Wednesday (9/9). One form of the strict PSBB is that all employees work from home or work from home (WFH).

“In principle, starting Monday, September 14, non-essential office activities are required to be carried out from home, working from home, not the business that has stopped but working in the office is eliminated, business activities continue, office activities continue, but the offices in the building are not allowed to operate, “Anies said in a press conference at City Hall, Jakarta, Wednesday (9/9).

The 11 sectors allowed to operate during the PSBB are:

1. Health sector;
2. Food / food / beverage ingredients;
3. Energy;
4. Communication and information technology;
5. Finance
6. Logistics
7. Hospitality
8. Construction
9. Strategic industry
10. Basic services, public utilities
11. Industry of vital objects and daily needs.
