Beaten in Match 1 on Tuesday, the Ducs d’Angers responded to the Brûleurs de Loups with a victory over the ice of Grenoble (1-3) in the second round. The Angevins take the opportunity to regain the advantage of the field in the final of the Magnus League.
The suspense remains in the final of the Magnus League. Halley gives victory to Angers
And it was Philippe Halley who put the Dukes into orbit during this Match 2. Launched by Tommy Giroux in the 43rd minute, the Quebecer got the better of Jakub Stepanek before doing it again two and a half minutes later. This time, Jerret Smith and Kévin Dusseau were behind the break made by Angers. In the last two minutes, the Burners of Wolves tried everything to get back into the game, bringing out their goalkeeper to play on the power play.
