Nicolas Anelka, in particular former attack of Paris Saint-Germain (1996-1997, then 2000-2002) and of the French team (69 caps) of 41 years, is now the new sporting director of Hyères FC, club of National 2 acquired by Mourad Boudjellal. He presented his project for the future of the club in an interview with Nice-Matin. The former French international spoke in particular on a partnership with other clubs and the possibility of training young people from PSG via loans.

Of course, we can bring a lot of players here. I talk a lot with PSG who might be interested in lending us players. In the region, there are also very good clubs with very good players and trainers, so why not? We are applicant. We know that there is potential, that there are good players in France.

Do I want to take PSG players in the future?
We are in N2, so no, there will be no player from team one. But a youngster who comes from the U19s and who wants to evolve faster, why not? Maybe we can find an agreement to develop that. I, who have known both, know that the N2 has nothing to do with the N3.
We can prepare players for the pro group of PSG. It’s an idea, I’m not saying it’s going to happen. But since we have connections, anything is possible. This is valid for PSG, Lille and the surrounding clubs. ”
The training of young players is essential, since they can come to strengthen the first team or allow to make interesting sales. It is not always easy to give Titis everything they need to flourish and grow well. With the competition in the professional team of PSG, there is in particular the fear of running out of time. Especially since the reserve team has been deleted. Training with the pros can be good, but you have to achieve it and that doesn’t satisfy all players.
So there may be loans, except that they are not always easy to find. Anelka is quite cleverly opening the door to PSG, as well as to other clubs. At least that’s one option that can be explored. We also have to see exactly how Hyères FC will develop. The possibility exists, but as Anelka points out, there is nothing done yet.
