Andy Russia, the new chairman of the supervisory board at NV Energie Bedrijven Suriname, is not welcome at the company. The EBS employee organization, OWOS, wants him to step down. He was informed about this in writing today.
Citizens have filed a complaint against Russia with Attorney General (PG) Roy Baidnath Panday. By stepping down, the company will be protected and also protected against image damage, according to the OWOS. He was also asked to give the organizations and authorities the space to conduct research.
