Governor Cuomo, who has been in office since 2011, has come under heavy pressure in recent months. If he was celebrated as a hero in spring 2020 because of his decisive action against the corona pandemic, he was later chalked up with serious mistakes, especially in dealing with old people’s home residents. There were also allegations of sexual harassment against female employees.

“I know that we can defeat Andrew Cuomo in 2022,” Giuliani told the New York Post. “I’m going to be the 57th governor of New York.”
