The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, indicated this Friday that the Andalusian health service and the epidemiological centers of the autonomous community are in a situation of “maximum alert” due to the possibility of a “burst of infections” of Covid-19 which he considers “foreseeable” to occur “between this end of the year and the beginning of January”, also derived from the “very high” number of infections that is being recorded in China. The Andalusian president said this at a press conference in Monachil (Granada), as part of the inauguration of the new Alhambra chairlift at the Sierra Nevada ski resort, and to journalists’ questions about the measures announced this Friday by the minister della Salute, Carolina Darias, who indicated that, given the high transmission of the coronavirus in China, in Spain passengers from the Asian country will be required to carry out a negative test for Covid-19 or, failing that, complete vaccination of the lines guide .
Juanma Moreno has indicated that from the Andalusian government they have a “deep concern about the situation in China”, with a “very high number of infected people”, which “gives the feeling of not being able to be controlled”.
