A former MP from “There is such a people” and a current candidate for the next parliament also resigned from the party with a public post on the social network Facebook. Galina Ivancheva, a lawyer, withdrew from the party’s lists and severely criticized leader Slavi Trifonov. We publish her opinion without editorial intervention.

“Dear fellow citizens, compatriots, friends,

The sovereign has the right to answer, especially when his trust has not been justified! The PP “There is such a people” did not give such an answer to the people, nor did it take responsibility for its actions and inactions. In fact, we all know that this party has become and remains famous exclusively for its silence. This silence was required of every member and supporter of the party, with the explanation that everyone would be given the opportunity to express their opinion in the future when the time came. However, this time never came, and it is now clear to everyone that it will not come in the future. Of course, everyone sets the limits of their patience. The main reason why I personally decided not to be a member of this party anymore is that, as it later became clear, it was not built and does not operate on a democratic principle, as an official request and continued to claim to be. of the democratic principle is not the only important lack, but the lack of any strategy for the development of our country. The discrepancy between words and deeds is something that the sovereign can no longer believe. The fact that no government was formed at a crucial moment when there was such an opportunity, and the state was and still is, in a very difficult situation, is one of the most unsympathetic things that have happened in the recent history of our country. On the other side is the lack of personnel policy and the subsequent disappointment of the regular members of this party and their deceived trust and work. And these regular members are not one and two, but hundreds in every city, both in Bulgaria and abroad. Hundreds of people who have worked hard, who have stood with their faces and names in the name of the common good, who have turned their backs on their families, homes, businesses and professions, some have even left their jobs and the country in which they live to come to Bulgaria in the name of the national interest, in the name of working for the benefit of this party and our society. On the other hand, they get guess what? Yes, that’s right, they get silent! From ours, the party emblematic… However, somehow we tolerate this silence for a very long time, don’t you think?! ….

Particularly telling is the fact that we receive it from people who claim to be fighting for a majority vote on a democratic basis, but openly forbid their candidates and voters to vote with preferences and even force them to fill out pre-applications, with the express stipulation that there is no date under them, so to put it, those who decide and when they decide / attached I send one for example, but with a “wrong” date /. And yes, that’s why none of the previous candidates, including me, have a preferential vote, even I personally, directly and indirectly, have explained to a mass of people that in no case should anyone do it, because it should and because I have insisted on being tolerant and loyal to the party and the idea of the common good and prosperity of our country, because I have made such a commitment responsibly and officially.

However, you understand that now that we are drawing the line and taking stock, we have to admit, no matter how unpleasant, that this should no longer be the case and that, in a white and democratic country, this is not possible. to happen… And I can not be disappointed by this fact, and not only me of course. The fact that the behavior of some people in parliament was, to put it mildly, inappropriate is one thing, and maybe there, the emblematic silence for the party would have done a better job… maybe… But inappropriate and unworthy behavior also exists at the local level. A simple example: Immediately after my election as a Member of Parliament, a man came to me who openly and without hesitation, and brazenly and ruthlessly told me that it was only thanks to him that I had entered Parliament and that I must thank him for it. appoints me as my parliamentary assistant and I pay him every month a sum of money from the money provided for this purpose for each MP, because you see, he had raised me here… I was shocked and this was the first red signal light in my head… Does he continue to sounds democratic to you? … Do you remember how I answered him…. And yes, he is still where I definitely do not want to be anymore and continues to tailor and engage people with his intrigues, in which I definitely do not want to participate and have never participated.

I cannot help but be disappointed by this obvious desire to ruin a successful political project, in which I personally have participated since its inception in 2018. By no means do I regret the time and effort, because I had the opportunity to meet and be among a lot of quality and valuable people, many of whom, unfortunately, are no longer there, others make the last effort. I continue to be grateful to both the people and the experience I had the opportunity to gain!

I’m not telling you not to vote, no, I’m not saying that. I tell you, be careful who you vote for this time! Think! Vote for those who deserve it!

Yes, the Power is in the truth, and we owe it to the sovereign. “
