An indictment was filed against the distributors

This morning, the Tel Aviv District Attorney’s Office submitted a serious indictment to the Magistrate’s Court against two residents of the center of the country in their twenties who are accused of extortion by threats, sexual harassment, violation of privacy and obstruction of justice against the businessman Amos Luzon. The two, who are each accused in their part, recorded Luzon and another young woman during a sexual act in the pool at his private villa in the settlement of Arsuf.

According to the indictment, the case occurred about six months ago when one of the defendants walked near Luzon’s house, noticed him having sex with a young woman in the pool and took a 38-second video. A week later he sent the video to a group on WhatsApp where dozens of people are members. “Several members of the group humiliated and humiliated Luzon and the young woman who was recorded with him. One of the group members came up with an idea: “Basically, why don’t you blackmail him?”, the indictment reads. According to the investigation that was conducted into the matter, at some point a person unknown to the police and still not located contacted Luzon told him that he had a video recording the act in the pool. He went on to threaten him that if he did not pay him he would distribute the video to the public.

Later in the indictment it is written that one of the accused in the case posed as a person named Inbar Levy and asked a person close to Luzon and identified as M. NIS 13 thousand in exchange for deleting the video and they negotiated. The accused threatened M. that he would get Luzon’s phone and send him the video. “Trust me, I’ll get Amos Luzon’s number and I’ll tell him that you wanted this video for your mother,” the defendant threatened the associate.

Two weeks later, the video was widely circulated by people the police have so far been unable to locate and sent to Luzon’s family members. Also, the video in question continued to spread and was even published in the media.

As soon as the affair was revealed and the police decided to open an investigation to locate those involved in the affair, the main defendant sent messages to his friends and asked them to delete the video. He also demanded that they delete the messages between them in order to prevent his detection by the police investigators and his incrimination.

Luzon refused to submit to blackmail, did not pay the money and filed a complaint with the police following which three suspects were arrested. The two defendants and the son of a senior judge were questioned under a warning in the case. The defendants linked themselves to the incident but denied extorting or threatening Luzon. The judge’s son was not prosecuted in the case and denied any connection to the allegations.
