An Emirati-Saudi race on Schaefer .. and this is the preference of the German

The road will not be paved for one of the clubs belonging to the ADNOC Professional League, which wants to sign veteran coach Winfried Schaefer.

Schaefer is a well-known name at the level of our league in particular, and at the level of the Gulf in general, having previously led the youth teams of Al-Ahly (the Red Knights), Al-Ain (the leader) and Bani Yas (the swords of the capital), while his last assignments were with the stream of Qatar (the Red Knights).

The Emirati newspaper, “Emirates Today”, had reservations about the identity of the local club wishing to obtain the services of the 72-year-old.

The newspaper contented itself with referring to the entry of another club in the Saudi league “Roshen” vying for a contract with Schaefer, without revealing his identity.

At the conclusion of its report, “Emirates Today” noted that Schaefer “tends to accept the Emirati offer”.
