The convicted senior seaman was arrested soon after receiving the first complaint against him in early June 2019 and has not been released from custody since. On the day of the complaint, urgent investigative measures were carried out which led to the discovery in his home of illegally detained firearms and ammunition.
The evidence of this crime was separated in another criminal case. It ended earlier, in May 2020, with an effective sentence of two years and three months’ imprisonment and a fine of 4,000 levs.
