An Australian citizen dies horribly after a duel with a cafe boss in Bali

A foreigner (foreigner) from Australia, Johnston Mccallum Scott (39) died at the Uncle Benz Cafe, Jalan Pantai Balangan, Ungasan Village, South Kuta, Badung, Bali. The Australian Caucasian dead after allegedly getting into a fight and being beaten by a cafe owner, I Gede Wijaya.

“As a result of the fight, the victim died,” said the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the Bali Police, Kombes Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto when confirmed, as reported by detikBali, Friday (24/2/2023).

The incident occurred on Thursday (23/2/2023) at around 14.00 WITA. At first, Scott, who was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, then acted out of control and started babbling at Wijaya’s cafe.

“Initially the perpetrator came to drink and treat the victim. But because they were drunk and babbling, the two fought, causing the perpetrator to get angry and hit the victim with a chair,” said Satake Bayu.

Scott was found lying in light blue surf shorts. According to Satake Bayu, Scott’s condition was bruised, his head was bleeding, and there were cuts on his face. Scott’s body was then rushed to the BIMC Kuta hospital.
