The Sargent Debora Grau Serra, 33, died tonight in Alicante after suffering an accident during maneuvers when hitching the artillery howitzer the tractor truck.
His unit was participating in the UDACTA I / 21 deployment that is taking place in Santa Pola. She was immediately admitted to the General Hospital of Alicante where he died around 8:30 p.m.
Grau was part of the 3rd battery of the Coast Artillery Group I / 4 of the Coast Artillery Regiment No. 4 (San Fernando) of the Field Artillery Command (MACA).
The Ministry of Defence has reported that his unit was participating in a deployment in the town of Alicante. “All our support in these hard times to his family and colleagues from the regiment. He has given his life for Spain”, lamented the Land Army.
