– Mistake

More than 200 people have been questioned in connection with the murder, and the police are getting a clearer picture of the process.

Police have said they believe the policeman was shot by mistake.

– It is most likely that the shooting was not aimed at the police, said Erik Nord, who is area manager in the Swedish police, on Thursday.

It is with great sadness that we have been informed that a colleague has died after being shot tonight. Our thoughts go to the family, close and dear ones and co-workers, said the Swedish national police chief, Anders Thornberg, according to GT.
