Honor, Huawei’s sister company, promised and delivered: in addition to smartphones, it would bring its line of wearables and accessories to Mexico. It started with the Honor Band 5 a couple of months ago and now reinforces this market with the Honor MagicWatch 2, your new smartwatch with AMOLED screen and up to 14 days of autonomy.
The Honor MagicWatch 2 is now available in Mexico for 3,999 pesos, for sale in BestBuy and will soon arrive in Coppel. The variant that arrives in the country is the black one with a 46 mm dial.

Honor MagicWatch 2, unboxing and video first impressions
The Honor MagicWatch 2 has 316L stainless steel body and 22mm silicone straps, but they are interchangeable. In addition, on the AMOLED screen we can also change the covers for greater customization. Your body has protection against water up to 50 meters deep and 5 atmospheres.
On the other hand, inside the MagicWatch 2 we find 15 sports activity tracking modes, from the most basic such as running, cycling and even indoor cycling, to activities such as climbing and triathlon. It has a blood oxygen meter, compass, stress measurement, breathing exercises and it is even possible to transfer music to the internal memory to pair Bluetooth headphones to listen without carrying the smartphone.
In addition to everything mentioned, we have the classic notifications, step tracking, calories, sleep quality, among other things, typical of a smartwatch.

The Honor MagicWatch 2 feels of great quality and very comfortable to wear, with intuitive software and relatively easy to use. Its screen easily ranks as one of the best on the market, with excellent content display, even outdoors with lots of light.
However, it is impossible to ignore the similarity of the MagicWatch 2 to the Huawei Watch GT 2e than arrived in Mexico a few months ago. And it is to be expected, since Honor is the sister company of Huawei, for which both smartwatches share aspects such as screen, autonomy and software. In terms of design, they share general lines, but the Honor MagicWatch 2 has its own identity, especially for the two side buttons that protrude noticeably from its body.
First impression experience with the Honor MagicWatch 2 is good. As I already mentioned, she reminds a lot of her brother from another company mother, which is not bad, but raises some doubts as to why two “equal” options in the market. Of course, the MagicWatch 2 has the advantage of a lower price: 3,999 pesos, and per launch will have a special price of 3,499 pesos.
