A 10-word tweet from the Mexican first lady sparked a strong controversy on Wednesday 1-J that led her to become a trend in the social network by being tagged with the phrases #LaBrujaDelPalacio and #NoSoyMedico.

On the same day of the second anniversary of the triumph that brought her husband, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to the presidency of the country, the writer Beatriz Gutiérrez answered a question from a user about when she would personally attend the parents of children with cancer, who have weeks crying out for medicines.

“I’m not a doctor, maybe you are. Come on, help them, ”the historian also wrote in her account.

Later, Gutiérrez’s controversial response was removed from his Twitter account. The Presidency of the Republic declined to respond to a request for comment on the words of the first lady, who is described online with the tags: “#NoViolencia, #NoAcoso, # PazSí, # AmorSí”.

“If Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller does not care for parents of children with cancer because she is not a doctor, she should not record records because she is not a singer,” wrote user @elemloe in reference to the first lady’s short musical career.

But just as criticism rained on him, so did his supporters. “Regrettable the attacks and disrespect towards a great woman like Beatriz, where are the feminist groups supported by the right that complain about everything?” Wrote the user @DelCampoGDLupe.

It is not the first time that Gutiérrez has engaged in battles on Twitter. In fact, he had stopped using the account and reappeared a few months ago announcing that he was breaking a strike.

And, days ago, he charged @TwitterLatAm: “Your non-aggression policies between users fail. The #bots that keep you listed are still unleashed. Come on, I know that you can avoid violence, and above all, gender violence, “he published.
