“I certainly wish with all my soul, in addition to the data indicating that in July we will not lose jobs, that if the number of jobs does not grow, I am referring to the formal economy, the workers enrolled in Social Security, if there is no increase, it will be maintained, that is, we will maintain 19 million 500 thousand workers enrolled in the Social Security, but we are going to stop the fall and if we do not increase, I repeat, even if it is little in July, for August yes and forwards, towards the end of the year, in the formal economy, ”he said.

López Obrador also stressed that the entry into force of the new trade agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada on July 1, occurs at a very opportune moment, it will complement your economic recovery strategy.

The President of the Republic also anticipated that remittances sent by Mexicans from the United States they will register between January and June an increase of ten percent, for which he thanked the support to the countrymen.

“I already have the calculation that in this semester, from January to June, the increase in remittances will reach ten percent, despite the economic crisis and the pandemic, and then this also means reactivating the economy of our country Because that money goes down, it reaches about eight, ten million poor families in Mexico, ”he said.
