The second mediation concerning the electoral cause between political parties Community party and KPU extension reach an agreement. The Ummat party is confident it can participate in the 2024 elections.
“Yes, thank God, after these two days of mediating, we then reached an agreement. So, God willing, there will be a way for the Ummat Party, we are sure to become participants in the 2024 election. So basically we are grateful that we are ready to re-check these two areas, in the referred DPD,” said Party General Chairman Ummat Ridho Rahmadi after mediation at the Bawaslu office, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (20 /12/2022).
Ridho said his party was ready to meet the lack of requirements to participate in the 2024 elections. the requirements. So out of all the 350 DPDs we present, there are only 16 left. So, God willing, this will not reduce the Ummat party’s accomplishment as a candidate in the elections,” he said.
The re-verification process will start tomorrow (12/20). Then, fact-checking by the KPU will be carried out for 3 days.
“Starting tomorrow. So there’s an administrative verification process, there’s an administrative process then sampling again, then just fact checking. The total is about 10 days. If fact verifying, 3 days, December 26-28,” he explained
Ridho also said that he will report the results of the mediation to Amien Rais as president of the Syuro Council. “We report Pak Amien to the DPP,” he said she.
The following is the result of the decision read during the plenary meeting at the Bawaslu regarding the mediation between the Ummat Party and the KPU:
1. The applicant is willing and able to meet the minimum number of Ummat Party membership requirements in at least 5 regencies in East Nusa Tenggara province and at least 10 regencies/cities in North Sulawesi province which are distributed among them as follows :

The applicant is willing and able to meet the revised membership requirements in NTT Province and North Sulawesi Province according to the steps and schedule as follows:
1. Submission of documents on political parties’ membership enhancement requirements. The initial schedule is on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 and ends on Friday, December 23, 2022
2. Administrative review of improved political party membership requirements, Friday 23 December 2022 and by Saturday 24 December 2022
3. The determination of samples in the factual verification will be carried out by the KPU, Sunday 25 December 2022 to 25 December 2022
4. Factual review of improvements to district/city level political party membership requirements by Regency/City KPU, Monday 26 December 2022 and at the end of Wednesday 28 December 2022
5. Recapitulation and presentation of the results of the factual verification of political party membership by the Regency/municipal KPU to the provincial KPU on Wednesday 28 December 2022
6. Recapitulation and presentation of the results of the factual verification of provincial-level political party membership by the provincial KPU to the Indonesian KPU on Thursday, December 29, 2022
7. Summary of the results of the factual verification of political party membership by the Indonesian KPU on Friday 30 December 2022
8. Presentation of the summary of the results of the fact check to the political parties and the Bawaslu on Friday 30th December 2022
9. Determining the results and taking the serial numbers of the political parties participating in the elections on Friday December 30, 2022
10. Announcement of the political parties that will participate in the elections on Friday 30 December 2022.
