The US men’s and women’s teams will move to Las Vegas in early July to conduct training camps and play a series of preparatory friendlies for the Tokyo Olympics, the American Basketball Federation announced Thursday.

The men’s team, which will try to win a fourth consecutive gold medal in Tokyo, will begin preparation on July 6 and play five games before traveling to Japan. Gregg Popovich’s team will face Nigeria on July 10, Australia on July 12 and 16, Argentina on the 13th and finally Spain on the 18th. All these nations will therefore also carry out part of their preparation in Nevada. An Argentina-Australia is scheduled on July 10, followed by Argentina-Nigeria on the 12th and Australia-Nigeria on the 13th.
