American Football: Fighting Farmers test before the start of the season – Bad Homburg Sentinels as guests – Regionalsport Extra

On May 14th, the Montabaur Fighting Farmers started the new season in the American Football Regional League Middle. Head coach Michael Treber’s team will be testing against the Bad Homburg Sentinels this Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. in Montabaur’s Mons-Tabor stadium to put the finishing touches to the game.

“Bad Homburg plays a class above us in the GFL 2 Süd and counts on chances there to play the promotion. So we chose quite a chunk,” says Sebastian Haas, sporting director of the Farmers, to the preparatory opponent and adds: “We made a conscious decision because that’s a bit of our aspiration and we want to get there sooner or later. It will be a good position determination.” The Westerwald also have new players in the squad who should get used to it on Saturday. hnp
