Lthe American comedian Bob Saget, found dead in a Florida hotel room in early January, died of a head injury, his family said in a statement on Wednesday. The actor, known for his role in the famous sitcom of the 1980s – 1990s The house party, had been found inanimate in a room in Orlando while on tour in the country, and the circumstances of his death were hitherto unknown.
Bob Saget allegedly accidentally hit the back of his head on something, didn’t ask himself a question and went to bed. His death is not believed to be related to drug or alcohol use. The 65-year-old actor rose to fame playing Danny Tanner, a widowed father of three daughters, including the twins played by sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, in The house party.
“The most loving man”
After his death, the famous Olsen twins had paid tribute to “the most loving, compassionate and generous man”. Bob Saget, often nicknamed the “Daddy of America”, was also the narrator’s voiceover in the series How I met your mother and appeared many times, playing his own role, in Entourage, from 2005 to 2010.
