Amazon Web Services suffers from outage – IT Pro – News

Amazon Web Services is currently experiencing an outage. This disruption affects Amazon services itself, but also services such as Adobe Spark, Roku and Flickr are partly offline.

The first notification on Amazons statuspagina was placed around 19:00 Dutch time on Wednesday evening. “Kinesis is currently facing an increased error rate in our US East 1 area, which is also affecting some other AWS services,” the Amazon Service Health dashboard said. The company also reports that the malfunction affects ‘the ability to post updates’ on this dashboard. However, the company claims to have found the cause and is currently working on a solution.

The outage causes problems with Amazon services itself, including Amazon Workspaces, IoT Services and Marketplace. In addition, problems with services like Alexa reported.
