The Amazon-owned streaming service, Prime Video, has made an exciting announcement. The highly anticipated series, “Fallout,” will be launching a day earlier than anticipated. Instead of the previously announced April 11 premiere, all 8 episodes will be available for streaming on April 10, this Wednesday.

Live Global Fan Premiere and Surprises

Prime Video has an additional treat for fans of the series. The first episode of “Fallout” will be globally premiered on April 10 at 6 p.m. PT. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in a live chat, interact with other fans, and even choose their faction. The premiere promises to be an exciting event filled with surprises.

Exploring a Post-Apocalyptic Universe

“Fallout” is based on the popular video game series by Bethesda Softworks. The series is set in an alternate history where the world is devastated by a nuclear war caused by advances in nuclear technology. The story unfolds centuries later, as survivors begin to rebuild and new civilizations emerge from the ruins. One of the main characters, Lucy, portrayed by Ella Purnell, bravely leaves the safety of her underground shelter and ventures into the wasteland that Los Angeles has become.

A World Transformed by Violence and Tragedy

In this retro-futuristic and darkly comedic series, Lucy quickly realizes the overwhelming violence that now dictates the rules of the wasteland. Kill or be killed becomes the harsh mantra of this dystopian reality.

Star-Studded Cast and Creative Team

The series features an impressive cast that includes Walton Goggins as Cooper Howard, a gunfighter who somehow survives the nuclear war, and Aaron Moten as Maximus, a member of The Brotherhood of Steel. Also joining the lineup are Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Mike Doyle, Moisés Arias, Johnny Pemberton, Dale Dickey, Matty Cardarople, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Chris Parnell, and Zach Cherry.

“Fallout” was co-created by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner and developed by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, who are best known for their work on the HBO series “Westworld.” Through their production company, Kilter Films, Joy and Nolan have brought their unique vision to this new distinct interpretation of the “Fallout” universe.
