Amazon is working on multiple profiles in Prime Video – Sound and Vision – News

Amazon is working on the ability to create user profiles in Prime Video. Until now, it was not possible to use multiple profiles in the apps. The feature is not yet available to everyone.

The feature was first spotted by Gadgets360. Amazon is working on a feature to add up to six profiles to a Prime Video subscription. It is possible to set a ‘Children’ profile in which no programs for adults appear. In any case, profiles cannot yet have their own avatars. In the profiles it is possible to create your own playlists and get recommendations. It is not clear whether the recommendations for all profiles are included in the primary Amazon account.

Profiling does not yet work everywhere and on every device. Although Prime Video can be used in the Netherlands and although Amazon has a Dutch support page these cannot yet be set in the Dutch version for profiles. The profiles can be created in the mobile apps, via the desktop, and via the Chromecast and Apple TV of the second and third generation.
