Amazon builds first distribution center in the Netherlands for German market – IT Pro – News

Amazon is building a distribution center on a cross-border industrial estate in Heerlen in Limburg. This makes the building the company’s first distribution center on Dutch territory. This center will initially focus entirely on the German market.

It will be Amazon’s first distribution center in the Netherlands. Amazon is opening this summer a delivery center at Schiphol. No packages are stored here, only sorted. This delivery center mainly focuses on the Amsterdam region.
