Which item do you need most on the weekend? What’s on your shopping list every Saturday? Today we ask our questions actor Christoph Marti alias Ursli Pfister.

Every Sunday blue News asks a person from the fields of culture, sport, business and politics 22 questions to find out what he or she does or doesn’t do on the weekend – and what was the best moment in the past seven days.

Today’s guest is Christoph Marti.

As Ursli Pfister, the actor takes care of the Siblings Pfister for 30 years for a sensation on stage. He is currently in the Bernhard Theater Zurich until mid-January 2022 Operetta “Die Fledermaus” to see.

1. Christoph Marti, what does weekend mean to you – in one word?

Catch.

2. What was the best moment in the past few weeks?

We played the resumption of ours in the tipi in Berlin in the month and a half Tribute to Cindy & Bert. Cindy, the real one, was with us last week, not for the first time, but this time she was sitting in the front row, I had her in view the whole time and could see how much she enjoyed the evening with us. She often had her hands at face level in front of her and danced with them, she seemed both present and absent, immersed in her own memories. When I said to her after the show that sometimes I was no longer sure whether she was still her and I was still me, she said that was exactly what happened to her. A couple of times it also happened that individual people gave us instead of “Bravo!” At the final applause. “Thank you!” to call out. That was really nice.

3. If you had the power to command what seems right to you today, would you command it against the opposition of the majority?

No. Although I am a big fan of clear announcements, especially when it comes to professional issues, when I know what I want, I prefer to work with the means of enthusiasm and seduction.

4. What is on your shopping list every Saturday?

Bread, cheese, fruit.

5. With which fashion designer, with which fashion designer do you leave your money?

In terms of clothing, I get so at my expense through my job that in my private life I don’t want to worry too much about what I’m wearing. When I discover a brand that works for me, it may well be that I stay loyal to it and stock up on it exclusively for a while. Adidas was my favorite for a long time, after that there was a phase with Orlebar Brown, at the moment it’s Ron Dorff. That I don’t want to worry about it doesn’t mean that I don’t like beautiful things.

6. Who would you like to have dinner with? The person can also already be dead.

So my favorite thing is to have dinner with my husband, who luckily is still alive. I very much hope that it will stay that way for a long time.

7. Who is the best James Bond actor? And why?

For me this is without a doubt Roger Moore. It’s probably because he was the reigning James Bond when I got to see the first James Bond films in the cinema. None of his successors came close to holding a candle to him, not even Daniel Craig. Although it’s a really hot cake. From today’s perspective, Sean Connery is just too brown for me.

8. What TV series are you watching right now?

I’m not watching anything at the moment because there is nothing better for me at the moment than lying on the couch for a while after the performance and enjoying the silence.

9. What was the last concert you attended?

That was a concert with the Debussy preludes by our pianist and musical director Johannes Roloff here in Berlin.

10. Which song do you immediately leave everything behind and storm the dance floor?

«I love to love» by Tina Charles.

“For me there is currently nothing better than lying on the couch for a while after the performance and enjoying the silence.”: Christoph Marti.

11. How long do you stay in bed on Sunday after waking up?

Not at all, I like to get up as soon as I’m awake.

12. Breakfast in bed – yes or no?

No.

13. When was the last time you went to a place of worship?

I can’t remember that. I left the Evangelical Reformed Church many years ago. With the best will in the world, I can’t see a god, not far and wide, he’s probably hiding. I don’t pray either. I dream until the dream becomes a plan and I can get to work.

14. Which item do you need most on weekends?

The watering can. I have a lot of house plants and cacti, and the window sills of our large Berlin apartment in an old building are all green. Of course, some of the plants are also watered during the week. But on Sundays it’s the turn of the big watering, for which I take my time and which I enjoy very much and in peace.

15. Is there a ritual that you practice every Sunday?

Well, eat.

16. Freiburger Fondue Half-Half or Tessiner Risotto?

It’s a sad story. Fondue, especially the moitié-moitié, is one of my absolute favorite foods. But my husband doesn’t eat melted cheese, which is why we often have risotto.

17. The best way of getting around you have ever owned?

My bike has been in front of our house on Brückfeldstrasse in Bern since I was a little boy who managed to ride my bike for the first time. Very loudly I have “Mommy !!!” screamed out of sheer joy, I still remember it very well. This feeling has not left me to this day, which is why I do not have a driver’s license and I have no plans to change that.

18. Locarno or Lugano?

Locarno, a country school week in the Collegio Papio in Ascona in the days of Untergymers, the proximity to two great great aunts, Maria and Euphenia, who are buried in the cemetery of Intragna.

19. When you hear the word French-speaking Switzerland: what do you think of?

On happy and carefree summer days at the Gotti in Champmartin on Lake Neuchâtel, to the house at the top of the Hoger with a view of the nature reserve below and the entire lake across from Neuchâtel. The Liechtli in the evening after it got dark. The slight smell of chlorine from the swimming pool. Vully cake for everyone!

20. What do you do too little on the weekend?

Catch.

21. Which persistent rumor about you is simply not true?

I do not know and I am not interested in it. I can distinguish between work and private life very well, I don’t concern myself with my image for a second, I keep up with it Zarah Leander:

What the society is talking about

Between lunch and dinner, in the afternoon at the Five o’Clock

From Madame X and Madame U

It’s best not to listen to people at all.

(From the operetta “A woman who knows what she wants” by Oscar Straus, text by Alfred Grünwald)

22. Your favorite joke?

It’s way too long and way too piggy for me to be able to tell you about it here. Carrara marble and a vaginal vacuum play a role in this. Let’s leave that.

Christoph Marti filled out the questionnaire in writing.
