You can’t win what never gives up, it could characterize the 12th season of the Ghetto Games, because both national restrictions and coincidences of different circumstances did not allow you to give up, but on the contrary gave even more power to start the season in spite of everything. The hottest week of Ghetto Games this season is here – the Super Finals. Both players and spectators will have the opportunity to watch powerful games and fights throughout the week starting from Monday, as well as participate in various additional activities, such as competitions on the central square, FIFA20, “Sim racing club” and others, informs the portal balticevents.info
The 12th season of Ghetto Games this year was unusually short, but in terms of events it was spent productively and richly. We have experienced a record number of teams in the Colosseum, which is gratifying, with more energy and fighting spirit, the floorball has returned after a year break, which will definitely stay.
One of the biggest news of the season was the 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments organized by Ghetto Basket every Monday. Tournaments of this format tested the mastery and endurance of the players, and on the evening of August 24, the best kings of the field this season will be determined.
Ghetto Football and Ghetto Basket visited Tukums and Aluksne with their away tournaments, showing that there are also players in the regions who can provide positive emotions and intense games. Changing formats and concepts, a family day took place in Grizinkalns, where various sports disciplines were performed and, as usual, football and basketball games. This year’s love seekers met in Ghetto Tinder, who also told aunts from Latgale to speak, but the young tankers have already experienced their first baptism of fire in two stages, and are now honing their results, because in the Ghetto Basket super final, which will take place on August 27, everyone will to experience something unprecedented in Latvia – the Youth SLAM DUNK competition, which is organized in cooperation with Maxima.
Every sport has thought about how to surprise both players and spectators at the end of this season. There will be the best players of the Indoor Football Super League, as well as young and ambitious young people, performances from well-known artists in Latvia and spectator competitions throughout the week.
This season was eventful and the work is multiplied by two, but it’s time to give yourself everything so that the next morning after the super final there is no feeling that you have deceived yourself and your team. Every point thrown was worth it and every victory was won in intense battles, this season will be remembered by both the organizers and the participants themselves. It’s time to fireworks and show which district in Riga is the most sporty. See you Ghetto Games Super Final Week!
