The second run of the Schladming (Austria) slalom was the scene of an amazing scene on Tuesday evening. Brandishing a sign that read “RIP Kobe” (in homage to famous basketball player Kobe Bryant, who died Sunday of a helicopter accident), the streaker descended the slope and crossed the line just before Vinatzer.

After verification, it turned out that the latter was 13 tenths behind Christmas. The Frenchman had seen everything and couldn’t help laughing. Initially incredulous, Alex Vinatzer then preferred to smile when informed of the situation.
