The number of tourists who rested in the farmsteads in 2022 amounted to almost 500 thousand, Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism Oleg Andreychik said, writes BELTA.
There are over 3,000 farmsteads in Belarus. Agritourism is the hallmark of our country.
“Last year, almost 500,000 people rested at agrotourism facilities. I think that this figure will not decrease this year. Moreover, we now see that guests from the Russian Federation are actively showing interest in our tourism in the countryside. Therefore, this direction will develop,” Oleg Andreychik emphasized.
