Glattpark – Allreal recently started work on the Rieter Campus project in Winterthur. Allreal is realizing the project as a general contractor. The investment volume is around CHF 80 million.
The new Rieter campus is being built on Klosterstrasse in Winterthur. The traditional Swiss company is thus creating a location that includes a customer and technology center and an administration building on an area of around 30,000 square meters.
A study commission was carried out for the project in 2017 with a total of five well-known architectural offices, from which BDE Architects from Winterthur emerged as the winners. The project is very complex, especially with regard to the building services systems. For example, in the area of product and technology development, different climate zones are required that can be variably adjusted. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2024.
