It is the result of a collaboration between Noha Baz, passionate about Lebanon, her country of origin, and its nearly thousand-year-old culinary tradition, Joe Barza, renowned chef, and Aline Princet, photographer.
A great book on Lebanese cuisine, published in November 2021 by Mango editions and simply titled Tastes of Lebanon (207 pages, €29.95) was presented on Saturday by the adoption Chartraine Noha Baz ( our Friday edition ). At the same time, this pediatrician offered a tasting of Lebanese dishes in the Esperluète bookstore.
“A kitchen made to be shared”
These are sixty tasty and authentic recipes of Lebanese cuisine that the book unfolds, in a gourmet journey that describes unique atmospheres crossed by encounters with Lebanese personalities known beyond the country’s borders such as Vénus Khoury-Ghata, Nadine Labaki, Ibrahim Maalouf, Hala Warde, etc. The opportunity for them to evoke their cooking memories, their favorite dishes and the sensory images to which they are attached.
