You may have already finished watching all the episodes of Cobra Kai season 3. Now you want some more and want to know if Cobra Kai season 4 is due and when.
There is great news for everyone. Netflix has already decided that a fourth season is needed.
The renewal of Cobra Kai for a season 4 happened shortly after the first two seasons of the Karate Kid arrived on Netflix earlier in 2020. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, making it clear that the series has simply been on the wrong streaming platform from the start.
With such success from the start, it was obvious to Netflix that it decided to make a fourth season. Especially since the streamer has acquired the rights but has not invested in the shooting of the series so far.
Hopefully this will not be the end. We need more well-written, well-interpreted series that capture the hearts of fans of the movies Karate Kid and new fans.
The good news is, you can watch season three excessively without worrying about the ending. There is more to come.
When will Cobra Kai season 4 air?
What we don’t know is when we’ll get a chance to see Cobra Kai season 4.
Unlike the third season, the series has yet to shoot an episode. When the first two seasons arrived, filming for the third season was already completely finished. We were just waiting for Netflix to give us a release date.
The cast and crew will have to return to filming at some point. While many productions have found a way to film during the pandemic, things are slower than normal. There are more protocols in place, daily COVID-19 testing, and rules on how many people can be on a set at a time. And every country and state has its own rules.
If everything could work normally, we assume that Cobra Kai season 4 can be broadcast at the beginning of 2022.
Cobra Kai Season 3 is currently available to stream on Netflix since January 1, 2021.
