A few days ago, China and South Korea reached an agreement on the handover of the remains of the tenth batch of Chinese People’s Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea. The two sides will jointly hold an enshrinement ceremony for the remains of the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea on November 22, and a handover ceremony will be held on November 23. South Korea will hand over to China the remains and related relics of 25 Chinese People’s Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea.

It is understood that China and South Korea have followed international law and humanitarian principles and have successfully handed over the remains and related relics of 913 Chinese People’s Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea for nine consecutive times from 2014 to 2022. This year is the tenth handover implemented in accordance with the consensus reached by China and South Korea.

On November 24, a burial ceremony for the remains of the tenth batch of Chinese People’s Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea will be held as planned at the Shenyang Cemetery of Martyrs to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. Now, all preparations for the heroes to return home are progressing in an intense and orderly manner.
