Our football clubs hope that the Pro League will make a blanket application on behalf of the football industry – anywhere from roughly 20 to 25 percent of stadium capacity – because all teams in 1A want to play corona proof for more than 400 people. The fans will have to wear a mouth mask and get into bubbles. For example, KVO already asked all subscribers who is in their bubble.
For such exceptions, the permission of the mayor is required and that of the Region. Not simple, because at a political level there is a fear that it may be safe in the stadium, but that there will be gatherings of supporters after the match. Yet every club already has a protocol ready, because they crave vocal support. Financially, a match in which a quarter of the stadium is filled is still a loss, but it is less bad than an empty stadium.
