Alior Bank offers from 50 to 500 thousand. PLN for financing solar farms

Micro-enterprises and small and medium enterprises, which are prosumers of renewable energy according to the Act on renewable energy sources (RES), may receive from Alior Bank between 50,000 and 500,000 under the Ekofirma loan offer. PLN financing for the purchase and installation of photovoltaic (PV) panels for energy production for own needs – the bank said.

“Entrepreneurs who apply for Ekofirma loan can receive from 50 to 500 thousand PLN for the implementation of the investment related to the production of electricity from their own micro-installations using solar energy” – we read in the press release.

“The loan is activated once or in tranches for a period of up to 10 years, and the money awarded should be used within 12 months of the start of financing – during this time the customer pays only interest installments. The borrower is required to have an own contribution at the level of minimum 10% of the costs net investment, i.e. the cost of purchasing and installing solar panels “- added.

The Ekofirma loan offer has been prepared on the basis of conditions for obtaining a loan repayment guarantee from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and an additional interest rate loan guaranteed under the FG POIR Biznesmax portfolio guarantee line.

– The security of this form of financing is the Biznesmax Guarantee and a blank promissory note. The guarantee is provided without commission and it can secure up to 80 percent. loan value. Thanks to this solution, the customer also gets the opportunity to receive, in the form of a grant, the return of part or all of the interest paid – explains Aleksandra Podobińska-Durka, director of the EU Funds and Public Programs Department.

– The refund applies to the first 3 years of loan repayment from the date of financing, and amounts to 5% per year for loans covered by the guarantee granted until December 31, 2021 or 3.33% per year for loans covered by the guarantee granted since January 1, 2022 – he adds.

Alior Bank makes the decision to grant financing conditional on the assessment of the company’s credibility and creditworthiness. The offer is now available in the bank’s branches. It is valid for 12 months from the date of its introduction, i.e. from 19 June 2020, is also provided.
