The former ambassador to Venezuela and the United Kingdom Alicia castro pointed out today against the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Felipe Solá, to reproach him for blocking his Twitter account and once again questioning the current policy of the Foreign Ministry, and also included as responsible the secretary of Strategic Affairs, Gustavo Beliz.
“The chancellor blocked me. Amazing. What extraordinary diplomacy the government has,” said Castro, who in recent times shows an active and militant role in social networks, as when he criticized the presidential spokesman weeks ago, Juan Pablo Biondi, for not applauding the vice president Cristina Kirchner during an act in the city of La Plata.
For Castro, the explanation for Solá’s decision is linked to his insistence that Argentina leave the Lima Group. “He will have gotten tired of my asking him to remove Argentina from the Lima Group; to annul Macri’s Agreement with Great Britain that delivers our natural resources to the Malvinas “, lashed out.
Castro resigned as Russia’s ambassador last October when his statement was frozen in the Senate and he did so amid strong criticism of Solá’s management at the San Martín Palace, especially for his policy towards Venezuela.
The Lima Group was created in 2017 and seeks the departure from power of Nicolás Maduro as a solution to the crisis in Venezuela. Since Alberto Fernández took office, Argentina continues to be part of the group, but usually abstains in his statements.

In turn, in response to the criticisms of his followers about the convenience of solving conflicts in privacy, Castro replied in a tweet: “He also blocked my phone.
