Algerian Tech Startup “SevenG” to Receive Rewarding Training in China by Huawei

The Algerian team “SevenG”, which won the second prize in Huawei’s “Tech4Good Startup Sprint” global competition, will participate in “rewarding” training in China in the field of technology, Huawei Algeria said in a statement on Sunday. “The Algerian team, which was hailed by the President of the Republic for its second prize in the Huawei global competition, will travel to China on Monday for an enriching training at the heart of technology, organized by Huawei”, notes the same source, specifying that “this special trip will take place from April 17 to 23 between the cities of Beijing and Shenzhen and is dedicated to the three winning teams of the Tech4Good contest of the Seeds for the Future program”. This is the first time that an African team “has risen to second place in the competition and taken part in this experience, alongside the other Irish and Italian teams”, notes the same source. Huawei’s flagship training program “Seeds for the Future” has been committed since 2008 to training young people around the world in new information and communication technologies (ICT). The Algerian team “SevenG” with its project “FarmAi” won second place in the competition as well as the public prize. This is an innovation that uses artificial intelligence to enable early detection of rust disease in wheat fields using drones.
