* According to the DGS: “The information presented refers to the total of medical notifications in the SINAVE system, not including laboratory reports. As such, it may not correspond to all cases per municipality. Data by county of occurrence, presented in alphabetical order. When confirmed cases are below 3, for reasons of confidentiality **, data are not presented“.

** Writing note: the criterion of “confidentiality” and the usual high number of cases omitted by municipality are, for the POSTAL newspaper, violator of the Right to Information. The various and diverse justifications given by the DGS are insufficient to guarantee transparency in the information collected and processed. Unfortunately, the argument seems to be that: “State affairs concern the State only”. THE POSTAL sympathizes with readers who are aware of the right to freedom of the press and who demand accurate and timely information from the state.
