Alexander-Arnold tells which two players he would buy for Liverpool if he had the chance

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been a guest on the Premier League program “Uncut”, where he has answered submitted questions.

One of the questions was which two players he would buy for Liverpool, if he had the chance. He went for Kevin de Bruyne and Son Hueng-min.

– De Bruyne, because I am very excited about him as a player. The overview, the technique, how precise he is. An excellent player. The chances and goal scorers he has are frightening, says Liverpool’s right back – who so far has created more chances and goal scorers than the Belgian this season.

– Son, again, an excellent player. The speed, the finishing skills, and the way he keeps calm.

The toughest opponent he has faced is one who now plays for Real Madrid.

– Eden Hazard. He has the skills, is fast, really had no weaknesses. He had perfected his game, and was complete in many parts of the game when I met him, so it was very difficult to stop him.

Then to Gerrard and Alonso

The right-back was also asked how he had gotten such a good footing…

– I do not know, it just happens… It is something I have worked with – not especially posts, but passes – ever since I was a child, says Trent.

– I have enjoyed watching the good passing players since I was a child. I grew up watching Xabi Alonso and Steven Gerrard in Liverpool’s midfield, and it does not get much better than that. I wanted to copy them, and copy their technique, so I had good role models on that front.

– I have always appreciated a good pass, so in training I have always worked on how to center, and worked with the technique. If you get a good foundation there, you can work with the technique, with the outside and inside of the foot, the weight of the fit and things like that. Then everything comes, as it has done now.
