University hospital staff will find almost 900 products on the area. The range is adapted to the situation, so Aldi Süd increasingly sells ready-made salads, wraps, snacks and drinks. Employees will also find drugstore items, chips and even a small fruit counter. The demand for toilet paper and kitchen rolls is particularly high, explains Aldi Süd.
As in all branches of the discounter giant, the classic hygiene standards apply. Only a certain number of people are allowed into the shop, plexiglass walls protect the cashiers and the minimum clearances are displayed on the floor sticker.
All employees also wear face masks and gloves, which are changed at regular intervals. In addition, all employees must disinfect their hands before entering the branch. At checkout, the company only accepts cashless payment options.
Only the hospital staff and employees of the subsidiaries located on the premises are allowed to shop. The opening times are from Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
