Albert Blokker passed away: he kicked an empire out of the ground, but his stubbornness put it back in

Albert Blokker (77) has passed away. Together with his brother Jaap († 2011) he started the Blokker empire. But also in the ground. In the golden years Albert came up with the (cheap) idea to put his sister-in-law Els as a model in the advertising brochures. When Blokker was already going downhill, he allowed Sarah Jessica Parker to play a Blokker spot. But he himself stayed far out of the spotlight and above all: stubborn.
