Speculations have been confirmed. Creative director Sam Lake, who participated in all previous games of the Finnish studio Remedy, officially today announced a remaster of Alan Wake, which was originally released on 2010 on the Xbox 360 and two years later also on the PC.
The project is created in collaboration with Epic Games, but it is a multiplatform title that aims at PC (exkluzivně na Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One a Xbox Series. Sony consoles will be seen for the first time, as the original game never came out. The release of the remaster is currently set at autumn of this year without exact date. According to the recent leakage but it looks like October 5, if it wasn’t a placeholder.
Sam Lake promises improved graphics, cutscenes and the Alan Wake model itself, in terms of content, the remaster is of course no different from the original game. We don’t have more information yet, but we should find out soon.
