Alan Wake 2 PC Specs: Are They Truly Next-Gen or Poorly Optimized?

With exactly one week until the launch of Alan Wake 2, it’s time to find out whether or not you need to upgrade your PC.

Remedy has revealed The PC specs for Alan Wake 2, and they definitely make it clear why the game isn’t coming to PS4 or Xbox One. Even the minimum requirements require quite a lot. Does this mean we’re getting a true “next-gen” experience or a poorly optimized game? Control fell into the latter category at launch, but first impressions of Alan Wake 2 give me hope that this will end up being the former. What do you think after seeing the PC specs below?
