Cardi B, the rapper and Woman of the Year in music, launches a new audiovisual project that has nothing to do with music. A series on Facebook Messenger by Jesse Collins Entertainment called Cardi Tries who, as its name suggests, tries to see the singer of WAP try new things. Dares to be for the first time teacher, firefighter or doing ballet, which has been his first challenge.
But she is not going to face them alone. Cardi B has called on colleagues, actors, athletes and experts from different sectors to help her in her mission. Michelle Rodríguez from Fast&Furious, the basketball superstar Damian Lillard, the country singer Mickey Guyton or the dancer and actress from Grey’s Anatomy, Debbie Allen.
The latter, a powerful woman, with character and fun, has given the artist a classical ballet class. The result? A chapter full of laughs and phrases like “My vagina has made me fat” that have made this first installment a success. Then they went on to an African dance class in which the rapper looked much more comfortable and relaxed: “Now I’m ready to give you everything.”
The output of this special job is due to the new Messenger update, Watch Together that the company tries to promote. It consists of a new button that allows you to watch videos with family and friends in real time. The protagonist will also use video calls on Instagram and Messenger Rooms via Watch Together.
These chapters will be released from December 18 until February 4th on the platform accessible to everyone. What other challenges will Cardi surprise us with?
