The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, said today (Sunday) that its members attacked a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip, causing a large number of deaths, according to what the Arab World News Agency reported.
The Phalange reported on the Telegram platform that the attack occurred at a positioning point for Israeli soldiers east of Juhr al-Dik in the central Gaza Strip, and that its fighters planted 3 anti-personnel devices in a circular pattern around the positioning, then detonated them on the soldiers.
It continued that one of its fighters killed the remaining members of the force, and its fighters then withdrew to their positions, after causing the death of a large number of Israeli soldiers.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also announced that it had targeted an Israeli tank penetrating west of Jabalia with a shell.
Earlier (Sunday), the Times of Israel newspaper reported that the Israeli army announced the killing of two of its members in the battles in the Gaza Strip.
The newspaper reported that the two dead were Sergeant Ashalo Sama (20 years old) from Petah Tikvah, noting that he was wounded on November 14, and subsequently died.
The second member is reserve member Or Brandis, 25 years old, who worked in the 7th Armored Division and was killed in battles on Saturday in central Gaza.
