Al-Marsad Newspaper: Suspicious and unknown foreign websites promoted fake news about the injury of Yasser Al-Shahrani, the national team player, who was exposed by it during the match with Argentina.
Suspicious sites have come out with false statements attributed to the Saudi national team doctor, according to which Yasser Al-Shahrani’s career would have ended in stadiums due to the injury sustained in the first round of the World Cup.
After searches and investigations by the press staff of Al-Marsad newspaper, it has been confirmed that what is being spread is only fake news posted by unprofessional websites, in order to get hits and get advertising revenue by posting fabricated news.
And Al-Marsad newspaper confirms that no official statement has been released by Yasser Al-Shahrani, the Ministry of Sports or the Al-Hilal Club, on the extent of the impact of the injury to which the player was exposed on his football career.
