A source inside the Egyptian Football Association confirmed that a ceremony honoring Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian national team player and the English club Liverpool, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday.
The source – who declined to be named – in private statements at Laila Kora, indicated that the ceremony, which will start at 7:30 tomorrow, Wednesday, will be held in the hotel of the Egyptian national team.
The ceremony honors Mohamed Salah after leading Liverpool to the Premier League title, “Premier League” last season.
The source indicated that the Football Association invited a small number of symbols and Egyptian football players, including Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Al-Ahly president, and Hassan Shehata, the former coach of the Egyptian national team.
The source concluded his speech by noting that Shawky Gharib, the technical director of the Olympic team, and the two former Egyptian national team captain Essam El-Hadary, were among those invited to attend the ceremony.
It is worth noting that Mohamed Salah arrived in Cairo yesterday evening, Monday, to join the Egyptian team camp in preparation for the two matches against Togo in the third and fourth rounds of the African Nations Qualifiers.
