Al Bano’s Birthday Celebration in Riga: 70,000 Euro Extravaganza with Boney M and ABBA Arrival

It has already been reported that the celebration took place in one of Riga’s conference centers, and approximately 300 guests gathered for it.

The event was hosted by actor Andris Bulis and Russian humorist Maksims Galkins, but domestic musicians, such as Inese Galante, Jānis Stībelis, Dināra Rudāne, as well as guests from abroad – “Boney M” and “ABBA ARRIVAL” entertained with musical performances. But the “nail of the evening” was the performance of the Italian musician Al Bano.

Well, Krūmiņš reveals the cost of the celebration to the publication “Kas Jauns”. “The only one of the musicians I paid was Al Bano. I paid him 20,000 euros. The rest of the artists’ performances were given to me by friends, or they themselves decided to greet me musically on my birthday and were not compensated for it.

As a result, this celebration cost me around 70,000 euros.

Almost everything else, including the rent of the premises and the feast, was raised by friends. I had already been given 200 bottles of wine before, I only had to buy potatoes and bread myself,” said the reveler.
