After a video clip circulated on social media showed one citizen assaulting another at a social event, Al-Baha police announced the arrest of the attacker.
And the police announced that, “referring to the circulating visual content of a person assaulting another in a social occasion, the assailant has been arrested.”
He indicated that preliminary inference procedures revealed that there was a previous dispute between the two men.
The attacker is in police custody
The police confirmed that the attacker was arrested, regular measures were taken against him and he was referred to the public prosecutor’s office.
A video clip was widely circulated on various social media platforms in Saudi Arabia, showing one person assaulting another with a “palm” slap during a social event.
The communication site pioneers used the hashtag #hitting_al-Shayeb_cuff to express their condemnation of this behavior and to call for the arrest and accountability of the attacker.
